DMCA Compliance Overview

TiviMate Companion provides IPTV subscription access and technical setup help for the TiviMate player. We focus on credentials, activation, and device guidance. We do not host, store, or operate a library of copyrighted TV files on this website. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws.

Any trademarks, service marks, product names, or logos shown on this site or in support materials belong to their respective owners. They appear only to describe compatibility (for example TiviMate or Firestick) or to explain setup. Display does not mean ownership, endorsement, or affiliation unless we say so explicitly.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Overview

The DMCA (United States, 1998) sets rules for copyright in digital services. It includes notice-and-takedown procedures and safe-harbor concepts for qualifying providers that respond properly to infringement notices. Copyright owners can use those tools to protect their works; fair use and other lawful exceptions may still apply depending on the facts.

Our Role

We supply playlist credentials and configuration support so customers can use TiviMate on their own devices. We do not claim ownership of third-party channels, movies, or series. Streams and lineups accessed through a subscription are controlled by upstream providers. Users must ensure their use of any content complies with applicable law.

Content Ownership and External Responsibility

Content available through IPTV playlists remains the property of the original rights holders and/or third-party distributors. You are responsible for how you use the service on your network and devices. TiviMate Companion does not edit or host those external streams on tivimatecompanion.ca.

Copyright Infringement Notifications

If you are a copyright owner (or an authorized agent) and believe material on our website or Services infringes your rights, send a written DMCA-style notice that includes at least:

• identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
• the location (URL or clear description) of the allegedly infringing material;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law;
• your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email;
• a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We review complete notices promptly and may remove or disable access to material on our site when required. Incomplete notices may receive no action until corrected.

Counter-Notice Procedure

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake, you may submit a counter-notice with your contact details and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification. Where required, we forward counter-notices to the original complainant.

Account Termination Policy

Repeated copyright infringement, credential abuse, or other intellectual-property violations may result in suspension or permanent termination of access to TiviMate Companion services.

Liability Waiver

You use the website and IPTV service at your own risk regarding third-party content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TiviMate Companion disclaims liability for losses or claims arising solely from external streams, playlists, or channels we do not host. Activities must comply with copyright law in your jurisdiction and any treaties that apply.

Consider whether the reported use might be fair use or otherwise lawful. If you are unsure, consult a lawyer before filing. The DMCA process requires personal contact details in the notice; some owners appoint an agent if they prefer not to share those details publicly.
